We are looking for capable, exceptional Disability Support Workers with life experience to join our exciting team on a casual basis in Murray Bridge.

Check out the key responsibilities and mandatory requirements for our role as a Disability Support Worker.

  • ❍ Helping and guiding clients to develop their independent daily living skills.

    ❍ Providing care for people who have complex and challenging needs in terms of their behaviour and emotional, psychological, and developmental well-being.

    ❍ Assistance in the meal preparation for clients

    ❍ Community Participation

    ❍ Providing general care and emotional support to resident

    ❍ Daily documentation (case notes, and other recording charts)

    ❍ Medication Administration

    ❍ Implementing person-centered approach

    ❍ Complex Behaviour handling experience “Intellectual Disability, Autism spectrum, Dementia and Mental health” repetitive behaviour, Depression, Bipolar disorder & borderline personality disorder”

  • ✔ All 4 (Free) NDIS e-learning modules including:

    □ Worker Orientation Module

    □ Supporting Effective Communication

    □ Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals

    ✔ Current first aid & CPR (cost $97 inc GST)

    ✔ NDIS worker screening check. This can be applied for once you have passed the interview process (Cost $115.50 inc GST)

    ✔ Current driver’s license.

    ✔ Proof of fully vaccinated status (government requirement)

    ✔ Passport or Birth certificate (for 100 point ID check)
